Dr. Maya Giorbelidze
Founder and Director
Dr. Maya Giorbelidze founded 4Impact with a simple belief: the best decisions are grounded in evidence, shaped by people, and driven by continuous learning.
With more than 15 years of international experience, Maya has helped governments, United Nations agencies, international financial institutions, universities, foundations, and non-profit organizations understand what works, strengthen their programmes, and create lasting impact.
She has designed and led complex evaluations, strategic planning processes, impact assessments, and organizational transformation initiatives in more than 30 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and North America. Her clients have included UNDP, UNESCO, UNCDF, UNICEF, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), USAID, Global Affairs Canada, and numerous national and local governments.
Today, Maya also works extensively in Canada, supporting organizations across Nova Scotia in areas such as organizational development, employee engagement, artificial intelligence readiness, business process optimization, governance, and strategic planning. Maya combines academic rigour with practical experience. She holds a PhD in Economics, is a Project Management Professional (PMP®), and has completed advanced professional training in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Results-Based Management, and Social Return on Investment (SROI). She is passionate about translating complex evidence into practical recommendations that organizations can act on.
Clients value Maya not only for her technical expertise but also for her collaborative approach. She believes that every successful evaluation begins by listening, every strategy should be grounded in evidence, and every project should leave organizations stronger than they were before.
